Terms of use

Plain-language rules for using the current RareDadHQ public site and resources.

Peer support and education

RareDadHQ provides educational organization tools and peer-support information. It isn't a medical provider, therapist, attorney, school, insurer, or emergency service. Site content isn't a diagnosis, treatment plan, legal opinion, or guarantee.

Medical disclaimer

Nothing on RareDadHQ—including tools, member profiles, posts, messages, links, or personal stories—is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, a prescription, therapy, or emergency care. Members are parents and father figures sharing lived experience; they are not acting as your child's healthcare professional. Never start, stop, delay, or change medication, testing, nutrition, equipment, treatment, or care because of this site. Consult a qualified healthcare professional who knows the individual patient and relevant history.

Use of the tools

You may download, print, and use RareDadHQ worksheets for your own family and share an unchanged copy with a care team, school team, social worker, or another family. Don't sell, rebrand, remove attribution from, or publish altered versions as official RareDadHQ materials.

Your decisions

You remain responsible for decisions made with qualified professionals who know the relevant facts. Verify deadlines, plan rules, school rights, and medical instructions with the appropriate source.

Member responsibility

Don't present personal experience as medical fact, prescribe treatment, direct another member to change care, discourage professional care, or make unsupported cure claims. Submit accurate contact information and don't send unlawful, threatening, exploitative, or highly sensitive child information. RareDadHQ may remove content, block abusive use, restrict accounts, or preserve information when reasonably needed for safety or legal obligations.

Availability

The site and resources may change, pause, or be corrected. RareDadHQ doesn't promise uninterrupted availability, but material corrections will be made when identified.
