What the public site collects
If you join Rare Dad Field Notes, RareDadHQ collects your email address, consent record, subscription status, and anything you choose to add in the optional handle, stage, or “what would help” fields. If you contact RareDadHQ, it collects your name, email, topic, and message.
Free PDF downloads don't require an account and don't ask for your child's information.
What not to send
Don't submit medical records, a child's full name, date of birth, exact address, insurance numbers, school, Social Security number, or emergency information through public forms.
Why information is used
Information is used to deliver requested updates, understand what tools dads need, respond to messages, notify people about merchandise they requested, prevent spam, and operate the site. It isn't used for diagnosis-based advertising and isn't sold.
Who handles it
The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. RareDadHQ does not install advertising pixels on this site. Service providers may process limited technical data needed to host, secure, and deliver the site.
Retention and your choices
RareDadHQ keeps submissions while they are useful for the requested relationship or legal and security needs. Every Field Note includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may also ask to see, correct, or delete information you submitted through the contact form.
Children
The public site is directed to adults. RareDadHQ does not knowingly invite children to create accounts or submit personal information.
Future member platform
This policy covers the current public site. Before private profiles, messages, journals, condition details, or member discussions open, this policy will be expanded to explain those systems and their controls.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Privacy questions or deletion requests can be sent through the contact form.
